East Midlands Trains extends maintenance contract with Bombardier

Derby's Etches Park Depot in 2016 Work has started on a £35 million upgrade of Derby's East Midlands Railway depot. The work, largely funded by rolling stock company Rock Rail, is underway at the Etches Park depot in preparation for the arrival of East Midlands Railway's new Aurora train fleet.

Work has commenced on a £35 million upgrade of East Midlands Railway's Etches Park depot in Derby. The project will be delivered in two phases, in preparation for the arrival of the operator's new bi-mode Class 810 Aurora fleet from Hitachi.

The £35 million project, which is largely funded by rolling stock company RockRail, will be delivered in two phases, firstly to upgrade the site to accommodate.

The depot is located to the east of Derby railway station. InterCity and Diesel Multiple Unit (DMU) trains are serviced and maintained here.

4. Ride the Teleférico. For the best bird's-eye views of the Spanish capital, hop on the Teleférico (cable car) in Parque del Oeste, which connects to Casa de Campo, the city's green lung. The dual cable transport system features 80 cabins, each of which seats six people, and it travels a distance of nearly 2.5km (1.5 miles).

Design, supply, install and commissioning of a new refuelling system at Etches Park depot in Derby. The value of this project was £1.15m. The system included both rail and road off-loading systems, 400,000 litres of new fuel storage, a new fuel pump room, a new fully automatic control system, and new dispensing lines connected to both existing.
